Wild Taco - Laguna Beach

The Wild Taco near the Highway 1 and Highway 133 junction is a zesty and flavorful California authentic eatery for tacos, fajitas, and burritos, complimented with a full service bar serving margaritas, cocktails, and bottled beers. This is a good spot of you are needing a mild but rich flavors.Vegetarian options: Many burritos and other entrees are available as vegetarian.Parking: Nearby paid street parking is around but extremely busy, consider one of the more distant paid lots and use the free trolley especially if you plan on other activities in Laguna Beach.

Expensive for the quantity and quality. I paid about $12 for one taco with a side of rice and beans and all three were extremely small in size compared to other Mexican spots. I had the spicyAsada taco and they gave me little to no meat and it was over cooked and tough to eat. I also got an agua fresca which was really good but it was about $3.50 for a 16oz cup. I’m from Texas so im used to 32oz agua frescas for the same price. Overall, the atmosphere was nice but I most likely wouldn’t eat here again.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant with my siblings, I must say tacos were expensive, I'm surprised that they are charging two tacos for $15! That is insane! There are lots of Mexican restaurants near my house, and you usually can get four tacos for $12, and the best is that they taste authentic, also come with good portion. We ordered nachos too but did not taste good because they came burned and chicken was dry, so we could not enjoy it much. One thing that really upsets me was that I decided to tip in cash, so I obviously chose no tip at the time I had to pay for my bill, oh boy, the waiter's facial expression immediately change after seeing that I was not going to tip, but in reality I wanted to tip in cash so I left the tip on the table when I was leaving the place. It is very disappointing to see that he was just trying to give us a decent service that should be expected the least at any restaurant just because of tips instead of genuinely giving a good service. I could see he was treating us differently in the end after I heard him asking the couple next to us if they would like a receipt, but he did not do the same with us and I needed that receipt. I have learned my lesson now, always look up for reviews first before deciding where to eat, honestly.

1st time @wildtaco @lagunabeach had 2 asada taco combo, the meat was really good, real broiled meat, black beans, pretty good, the salsa tho, was very, very tasty and spicy, I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. And the view with beach in front of you, splendid!!Special Thanks to Doreen- hope i got her name right- I assume she's the Mgr. for going out her way to make sure Everything was fine. I'll come back! Highly recommended.

Very Cali friendly staff. Made you feel welcome is a busy area next to beach. Prices were reason and drinks were strong. Nice beer selection and had Happy hour food and drink option.
