Upstream Grille - LAKE HOPATCONG

It's nice to find a place you can call home. We always feel welcome in the upstream. It's like you'll see your friends every time you're greeted by the staff. The food is amazing and changes seasonal. Everything is made from fresh local ingredients and you can taste that is any dish that makes chef Ken. I am so addicted that I visit several times a week for lunch and we visit once a week for Happy Hour. If you haven't tried upstream but you need to get there soon!

Just moved to the area and went out for a night out too recharge. Food and service were very good! We'll be back!

Chef Ken really outdid himself at this restaurant. The food was very fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the Chef even stopped by to see how our meal was.

This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything I have had is fresh, tastes great and new ideas. The owner and chef works hard in the kitchen and takes time to check on your meal. From a lot of the seats you can actually watch them and see that the kitchen is clean and they work together smoothly. I have not had one thing that I didn't like. My favorite is the Gumbo. I have had it all over and none compare to Upstream Grille. I just had a special named something like, Oak Smoked Backyard Pig which was excellent. The roasted pig would taste good on it's own but this had extra flavor and was cooked perfectly. Not dried out at all. My wife said his homemade baked beans with a few different kinds of beans were special and tasted great. All his food is fresh and homemade and they cook everything the way you like it. I just can't say enough good things. I would love to go every day if I could.

The food was excellent. We all thought the food was very tasty and seasoned very well. The waitress was great and very friendly. We will be back soon for more. Thanks for a great meal!!!!!
