Írjon visszajelzéstThis most recent incident occurred last Sunday. I didn’t need much gas, but I topped off anyway and purchased the car wash that was offered when I paid with my credit card. After filling up, I drove to the car wash, only to find it closed again. I went inside to inquire about the closure and was told it was due to a contamination issue with the water supply. Under those circumstances, I understood the closure, but I questioned why they continued to sell car washes at the pump instead of removing that option. The young woman behind the counter mentioned that they had plans to post signs about the closure. I then asked to speak with the manager, who came out a few minutes later without wearing a mask or gloves. I explained what had happened, and he stated that they had indeed posted signs and that my receipt was valid for one year. I reminded him that I had lost my receipt during my last visit and ended up paying out of pocket, so I requested a refund of over $13. He informed me that he would have to deduct 20 cents per gallon from the gas discount I received for the car wash. I pointed out that I had only filled up about six gallons, which amounted to a $1.20 deduction, but argued that I had spent 15 minutes dealing with this issue and deserved a full refund for the car wash. As he held my receipt in his bare hands, he responded dismissively. Frustrated, I couldn't help but raise my voice and told him I was done, taking my ticket back and setting aside the salad I had intended to buy. As I placed the salad on the counter and headed toward the exit, he shouted for me to leave his store. I kept walking but turned around when he continued yelling, and that’s when I lost my composure and called him a jerk before exiting. Honestly, I can't comprehend how someone with such poor customer service skills could become a manager. While I still appreciate Buckee’s and will continue shopping there, I will never return to that particular location again.
I'm disappointed to see that the exceptional customer service from your cashiers seems to have disappeared. There was no greeting or thank you this time! It used to be a pleasure to visit Buc-ee's, not only for the delicious coffee but also for the warm smiles and friendly hellos. It's really unfortunate that the younger staff hired at Buc-ee's seem to lack this basic respect.
