I could only eat like a third of the huge thing. Would I go back? If I had time to sit an appreciate the food? Maybe. But again don't go here if quick is what you need.
I was hungry and stopped in yesterday because I heard good things about it. I ordered a slice and, as someone else pointed out, no masks and no gloves on the employees. One employee was even transferring rolls into a container with his BARE HANDS?! Though I should have walked out, I’d already paid and figured the heat from the oven would kill any germs.I did eat it and it was the first pizza I have had in DECADES that tasted like the pizza I grew up with.it was delicious and, had a little more attention had been paid to pandemic protocols, I would have given it a five star rating. I won’t be going back until pandemic conditions improve.Message to the owner: PLEASE have your employees wear masks and gloves…I want more of your delicious pizza soon!!!!
Best little hole in the wall pizza in the area. Great place! Authentic New York style pizza.
Ordered 2 slices over the phone. When I got there the person making the food was not wearing mask or gloves (IN A PANDEMIC). Walked out and left my order.
BEST Veggie Stromboli in town! I grew up on Big Apple Pizza in Port St. Lucie. I’ve lived in this area for 10 years and I’ve only recently started exploring restaurants within walking distance of where I live (check out Guadalajara one plaza over for good Mexican and thank me later and boy do I regret waiting so long. I’ve gotten Calzones from every pizza joint in town. I don’t typically get Stombolis because I love ricotta and I always add pepperoni for more flavor but I didn’t add the pepperoni this time and it definitely does not need it! The eggplant that comes on it sets it off and it has just the right amount of mozzarella. Jam packed full of all of the fixings unlike the competition that charges you extra for veggies that should already be on it. And the good stuff sprinkled on top is the icing on the cake. Tonight was my first time here (and my first time visiting a Big Apple Pizza in 20-25 years but I will be back and Joey (I didn’t catch his name but that was the name on the receipt is the only one allowed to make it for me because I don’t think anyone else can top it! Very friendly and I’m happy I went. I don’t normally write reviews but it was THAT good. :
