City Star Family - Lake Wales

Unfortunately a bad experience. The only thing that was good was the waitress even though she got drink order wrong. Salad served was frozen . Main meal was a huge portion of Shrimp Alfredo but had a peculiar foul odor. Taste was even worse. We didn't eat it. The place definitely needs an uplift. Broken shades etc. Looks like at one time it was a happening place. The waitress and gentlemen at the check out stand was very nice about our issue and there was no charge. We won't go back....

This place had the absolute worst breakfast. The food was burnt and tasted disgusting. My orange juice was awful and the strawberries on my French toast was literally just canned pie filling. Also our waitress spent most of the time socializeing and ignoring us.

We stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I think we were the only patrons in the place. I had the grilled catfish, which was excellent. However the coleslaw was much too creamy for my taste. The fried okra was ok, bur tended to have a lot of breading. Service was very efficient and personable. I felt the prices slightly on the high side but not enough to be an issue.

The service was amazing. The manager Latifah and our Waitress Christine are the best!!!! OMG the food was amazing. We had the Catfish with hushpuppies Chicken Parm. Kids had the Hotdogs and Spaghetti Meatballs. Yum!!!Food: 5/5

Very nice place, the food was very good and the portions were huge. We had enough for the next day. The service was great. Our server was very polite and attentive.Food: 4/5
