Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

Apart from the parking lot we had to wait a few minutes to actually get to the parking lot. the lanes are narrow and the road was secured. that was great. I have to say the Chili cheeseries were better than meile. the hamburgers tasted great, the pommes were crispy. only what I really got left was the soda/pop machine. everything is watered. the Sierra scale was almost out. the root beer was weak and the pfeffer tasted like the food. but we didn't go for the limo. we make a special trip just for the shakes next time.

Never heard of the place. Wife picked it. Cool place. Food was good with old-style thin fries. Ice cream was great. Burgers were big and fresh.. Best part-Freddie was a fellow VET from WWII who started the franchise and raised a big family after the war. Great story from the Greatest Generation. Pictures of his achievements adorn the walls. Refreshing change from the usual fare of fast food chains. As a Vet, I can get behind that.

We ordered the California double with fries, cheese curds, and a custard. Everything was very tasty. I also liked that they had cherry Pepsi. Service was quick, mostly friendly. Atmosphere was comfortable and well lit. Would definitely visit again if we’re in the area.

The food was delicious!!! The service was great, the place was pretty clean. We found a clean table quickly. My only negative to report is the amount of flies in the building. There were so many I ended up with one in my fry sauce. Luckily, that's an easy fix, but it is something I would address! Hang some fly strips over night or out of sight. We will be back though, we left with happy tummies!

The burger was pretty good, pattys are kind of thin so i got a double with bacon, the fries are horseshoe style really thin, i like them my wife didnt but over all pretty good meal. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. If you want a decent lunch they are worth giving them a try. $9‐$11 average for a meal.
