Macallisters Grill Tavern

I really enjoy MacAllister's Fish Chips! It comes with French fries and a small serving of coleslaw. Everything was hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The dining room had a cool, quiet, and pleasant atmosphere. Even though there was a main street event happening outside, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, which was ideal for us. I can't wait to visit this place again!

The food was outstanding, which is why I rated the restaurant so highly. It's difficult to achieve much more than a beer hall atmosphere in a smaller space. The menu features dishes inspired by Scottish cuisine, which is a nice departure from what is typically offered to American diners. Items like tripe, haggis, and blood sausage would highlight the restaurant's authenticity, especially compared to options like linguine, which don't quite align with the restaurant's mission. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend some menu adjustments to better reflect the restaurant's branding.

This was our first visit to Macallister's, and both the service and the food were outstanding. My husband ordered the black fish with spinach, and I had the French dip. Since it was later in the evening, close to closing time, we never felt rushed to leave. We will definitely return—thank you!

Me? ve never had bad food here and I?ve tried several different things. They fool you by putting a bunch of salad on the floor of their appetizers to try how there is more food there than there is. I saw that with the Calamari and the Knall chicken. There is a good amount of outdoor seating. The staff has always been pleasant, even if it is very busy.

The service and food were over the top!!! For a Saturday night at 6:30 peak season! These guys were amazing! The service was a plus the food came out hot and tasty we are checked on several times they are top notch
