Not only is the service outstanding the food is home style and huge portions.I love the menudo! It’s served 7 days a week when you just can’t wait for the weekend.The fried chicken is a half chicken; juicy and crispy. It’s the special on Mondays.The fries and dusted with either cornstarch or flour before frying so they’re bubbly and crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. So good!If you get a baked potato, be sure to ask for a pat of real butter and not the ‘whipped’. I’m certain the whipped is part margarine.You get a bread choice with your meal, I choose a muffin and take it packed to go for breakfast the next day. The blueberry and corn are really good.

An excellent choice for a beautiful meal when they are in lakewood. portions are very good, eating is great, personal is excellent. parking here can suck at the weekend to the breakfast, but be patient to eat it is worth it.

Wow, what a fantastic meal! This was a new restaurant for me that my girlfriend took me to. I had a late lunch so I was still quite full for dinner, but when I looked at the menu, I couldn't resist ordering everything that sounded delicious. I started with a slice of apple pie, then had breakfast for dinner with added strawberry and whipped cream on my hot cakes. It was a great dinner stop and I will definitely be coming back here again.
