Wendy's - Lakewood

I went to the drive-thru at 11 PM, but the person who took my order told me they were closed because they were trying to get minors home. However, minors are required to be home by 10:30 PM, so I found that strange. As I drove around, I noticed a full staff laughing and joking, and there were customers eating Wendy's in the parking lot. I definitely plan to contact corporate and report this to the labor board. The employee at the drive-thru was also quite rude about the situation.

I experienced a long wait in the drive-thru, and I was disappointed to find that I could only order small-sized combos. It doesn't seem too difficult to offer medium fries or drinks with the same effort involved. Additionally, they only served beef and didn't have any chicken options, which felt lazy. I’m quite taken aback by how low the service standards have become lately.

I can't believe this is a franchise and that they're still in business. This place is a complete joke as a fast food restaurant. The service is incredibly slow—I've waited up to 30 minutes in the drive-thru. To make matters worse, their operating hours often don’t align with the franchise hours listed online. Sometimes they close as much as four hours earlier than what is posted. If I were the owner of this location, I would definitely need to have a serious discussion with my staff about why the business is shutting down so early.

After a 20 minute wait in the drive through, they tried to give me a small Coke when I ordered a large. Instead of just giving me what I ordered they decided to argue with me and tell me that I only paid for a small. I order the same thing every time I go to Wendy's, and I not only know what I ordered. I know what it costs. This location has gone downhill recently.

This place is always out of my salad! Apple pecan. Super aggravating!! Thanks for no dinner!! Not happy at all right now! This new manager that won't give his name is not good. He gave me at least a day old chicken and the staff can talk to the customers however they want. Someone needs to do something about the way fast food workers treat customers! Yikes!! Literally stopped taking an order in the middle of our order to do a food exchange with the kids from Nicolo's pizza. Had to drive up to the window after half the order because the manager quit taking the order in the middle of it. I waited 20 minutes.
