Healthy Eaters Brixton - Lambeth

There are time 's in life when you know that God is guiding you. I am NOT religious in the conventional sense, but this is the best way to describe what I can only say was one of the BEST dining experiences of the year thus far!!My sister and I went to Brixton to get something in a haberdashery store, purely by chance (or serendipity) we passed this eating establishment. We saw as we passed a gentleman going from table to table, seemingly chatting to the patrons. We mental marked it , went and found what we originally went for and , indeed , returned. We were greeted at the door by the same gentleman, he introduced himself as Stafford, the second part of a GREAT team, his wife Rose being the 'real ' BOSS, he pointed her out in their cookery side of the business. We were seated. I requested to know a bit about the business. We sampled four starters, added sides, had their 'in-house ' rum punch (which was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS '. The total price for this experience was TREMENDOUS, soft music in the background..I could talk and talk about the ambience, chilled vibe....etc. All in all , just go and visit. Taste, hot, fresh ,fabulous food. Get some Brixton local knowledge.......JUST GOOOOO. Thank you Rose and Stafford

I’ve been coming to healthy eaters since I was a child. Today I came in to get what I’ve always loved from them and watched the server fill the box. She heaped in the rice, when I say heaped I mean at least 90% of the box was ONLY rice and peas. She then started to put the oxtail in, I could see that the majority was just gravy and onions. I had to stop her a few times to be like where is the rest of the meat. Baring in mind I spent £40 in there on a few large meals I don’t think I’ll ever come here to order again. I have just opened my box to see I have 4 very small pieces of oxtail on top of the mountain of rice. 4!!! And that’s no exaggeration. To top it off the pieces are mainly bones and dried out yesterday meat. Healthy eaters I know it’s the cost of living crisis but this is taking the p out of your loyal customers

Just visited the shop and as always the food is delicious but for me i thought i must also praise the excellent customer service which was above and beyond. A lot of food outlets are lacking when it comes to good customer service. It goes a long way!!!.. Well done guys!!!

Ordered oxtail and rice and it was the best one I’ve ever had! The meat was nice and soft and service with a smile. Restaurant always looks so clean too!

Food was absolutely delicious....they don't mask their food with salt. Tasty great natural seasoning. When we visited today, it was so busy... Yet staff were nice to each other...nice to customers and maintained calm under pressure. Reasonable portion size and I would highly recommend their scrumptious food
