Rob's Fresh Cut Fries - Lambton Shores

Our favourite fish chips place in Lambton! Consistently the best place to get pickerel perch. I always substitute onion rings for the fries, they are delish!! Also the burgers wraps are awesome, for those who don 't want fish. When we asked our youngest what she thought of the burger, she had one word to say...amazing!! Another plus, pricing is totally reasonable!! Service is a little slow, especially when busy, but everything is made fresh worth the wait! Rob has also upgraded the exterior of the best hole in the wall around. Have been coming for years won 't stop anytime soon!!

I came here to satisfy my poutine routine because it was highly recommended. I must say it was worth the drive. The fries were perfectly cooked, the gravy was terrific, and the cheese was cheesy . Other than that I ordered a hotdog which was, well, a hotdog. But it was good.

Fantastic battered pickerel and great fries...great little hidden gem (for me), pretty crowded when I was there and considering the number of people in line, service was quick. Portions and price was very reasonable.

What a great little roadside place. Fresh made local comfort food fish, poutine, fries, ice cream, the works. Super tasty. We had poutine, chili cheese fries, and perch n fries. Fantastic! So much fresh perch we had to take some home. Steve, the manager, made us feel very welcome and made sure everything was right. Great lunch! We'll be back!

Tasty food, esp the poutine despite not using cheese curds , but the wait for two poutine, cheeseburger and shrimp was almost one hour.
