Country Kitchen Bakery - Lampasas

I stopped for breakfast on Sunday morning when they opened. They opened in time and sat immediately. My waitress was friendly and almost immediately had coffee on the table. The restaurant is clean, quiet and well managed. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and one side of ham. My food was on the table in 10 minutes. The eggs were perfectly cooked, not runny and not dried. The pancakes were fluffy and fall from the fork tender when they were covered with syrup; they drank the syrup perfectly. The bacon was crispy, not burned and not greasy. The side of the ham was something on the thin side, but it was well prepared and tasteful. My coffee cup was never empty and the coffee was good, not excessively strong or weak. I make it a point to stop here when I'm in Lampasas and it's time for meals. You have great service, good food and great staff.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, with a variety of options available on the buffet such as hominy and beet with onions. They also offer freshly baked bread and pastries. It's a great place to dine and you also have the option to order from the menu.

What a quantum restaurant. The food was very good and the portion size was more than expected. You have a bakery selling homemade bread. Do you want your bread slice, no problem....You have a functional automated bread cutting machine that is over years old. I just can't say enough good things about the restaurant and recommend a try to everyone.

The woman and I loved the chicken steak. The food was delicious. We have desert to go and the cinnamon roll was delicious. I highly recommend this place

While passing through Lampasas this afternoon, we decided to stop for lunch at a restaurant that caught our eye. Although it may not be a fancy establishment, the staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. The roast beef and buttermilk pie were particularly outstanding!
