Boston Pizza - L'Ancienne-Lorette

Ate dinner here one night recently while staying at the attached Hotel Must – 5 adults and 2 young children. Our family is a mixture of Anglophones and Francophones so had no difficulty with either the menu or the server, who spoke both languages in any event. The server was good and quite friendly but the food took forever to arrive. At least they brought the food for the kids first but the rest of us waited an eternity. I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

Our family of four enjoyed dinner here before heading to the airport. It is a convenient spot, easy to access, ample parking and good seating inside and out. We ordered the ceasar salad, quesadilla with chicken, bar-b-que ribs and cheese quesadilla. All arrived within twenty minutes, warm and our order was right. The food was good. The server was attentive with our drinks and checked in at the table to see how things were. All in all, a good meal. Would recommend for a convenient and reliable supper.

While the pizza were good. The Marsala pasta was HORRIBLE. First and foremost there is no wine in the pasta and it is actually Alfredo sauce pasta IT WAS A WHITE SAUCE with mushroom !! We immediately told them that this was not Marsala sauce and that we had an intolerance to milk based sauce ( cream.) The young men immediately offered alternative options ( we choose the pizza.) Than the front hostess with a great deal of ATTITUDE by the name of Cassandra, came by the table and said since they prepared the pasta dish we had to pay for the pasta!She then proceeded to show us the menu to show " creamy Marsala" sauce and therefore that's why we need to pay. I told her that Marsala is not alfredo sauce, she quickly responded by saying " yes Marsala is made with alfredo sauce".I must say that while we would of overlooked this little misunderstanding and moved on with our replacement meal, but the fact that she CASSANDRA was making us feel uncomfortable as customers after the matter was settled with the kind and polite server, was EXTREMELY disappointing and unprofessional!

I was quite pleased from the start. I'm from Ontario and my spoken French is quite rusty but the waitress spoke English and was happy to do so (I've had the opposite in Quebec on multiple occasions,) she even brought us English menus. The service was quick and we were well looked after. The food was both tasty and it looked good. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Parking is ample, reception was spotty. The property is clean. The menu is board. If you enjoy adult beverages there is a full bar. The food was fresh but lacked flavor. The presentation was ok. The service was friendly and attentive. Pricing seemed high for what was ordered.
