We really hope the community continues to support this establishment. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. We highly recommend dining here!
I tried the cheesesteak burger, which came topped with cheesesteak ingredients, including sliced beef, and it was deliciously satisfying for just $9, served with fries. I would definitely order it again. My kids enjoyed their meals as well; one had a burger, and the other chose chicken strips, both leaving happy. We did overindulge a bit, as we also ordered appetizers of onion rings and cheese fries. The cheese fries have been a long-standing favorite here, with a tasty cheese sauce, although it does solidify quite quickly. Looking back, I wish I had skipped the appetizers to spare us some stomach space and the $14 expense.
Overall, it was a solid choice for dinner. We arrived around 5:45 PM, and while the restaurant was a bit chilly, I had brought a sweater. The menu offered a wide variety of options. The salad bar had a nice selection, although the croutons could have been crisper. The fried onion rings were delicious, but the dipping sauce could use a bit more kick. I had the meatloaf special, which was very tasty and came with creamy garlic mashed potatoes, though the sautéed yellow beans weren’t to my liking—they were too crunchy and chewy for me. One of my friends ordered the broasted chicken and fried green beans, both of which he enjoyed. My other friend had spaghetti with meatballs, but he felt it needed more sauce and that the meatballs were dry and lacked seasoning. He also mentioned that it could have been served on a smaller plate, as his portion looked small compared to ours. Our total bill came to $60, which included two waters and one beer, making it a decent value for the price. I would definitely consider returning for another visit.
My wife and I visited an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant around 5:50 PM. It was busy, so we ordered a little bit of everything from a menu of about ten items. When our plates arrived, we were informed that several items were unavailable, and our plates looked quite sparse. After waiting another 25 minutes, we received a single plate of the few remaining food items, which we were told we had to share, and it contained only a couple of items. The waitress then informed us that was all they had left. So much for all you can eat! I voiced my concerns, and she took $4 off each of our $14 all-you-can-eat meals. We decided to pay and leave, opting for Dairy Queen where we ordered additional dinners since we were still hungry. While we were there, three other couples who had dined at the same restaurant came in and ordered food as well! We all agreed that this would likely be our last visit to that establishment. Bad service and disappointing food! I ordered a hamburger with fries and access to the salad bar. The salad was wilted and brown, the hamburger was cold, and the French fries were soggy. The waitress seemed distracted and kept getting my order wrong. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant; you’ll likely leave feeling very let down!
