Montana's BBQ & Bar - Langley

I had bad experiences in Montana Tsawwassen. But Kelowna Montana is totally different.Food was fresh and hot.Server was kind.Their steak was really great.

I recently revisited Montana's and was pleasantly surprised. Over the past decade, I noticed their locations dwindling but never understood why, as I always remembered them being good. I had forgotten about the location in Langley, so a friend and I decided to give it a try. The staff were all very friendly and it was clear they worked well together as a team. I started with a Caesar salad, and they had a variety of options to choose from. I took a chance on the kapow shrimp as an appetizer instead of sticking to their classic BBQ, and I have no regrets – it was delicious. The order of wings I had was generous in size and they did not skimp on portions. Overall, I had a great experience at Montana's and will definitely be returning in the future. I wish them nothing but success.

Went on Sunday August 6th for lunch. We had been there the previous week and had pulled pork sandwich, and it wasn't pulled pork, just big hunks of pork. Usually a great signature sandwich for them. Went back Sunday and ordered them again. It first took almost 15 minutes after we were seated to get service! Lack of servers! The sandwich had no sauce, so the server brought some, when we complained about the sandwiches, we got a SORRY! We sent in a complaint and the manager called and told us that they would use it as a training experience. No mention of making it right or sympathy! Very POOR customer service. $50 wasted and will never go back. When you have a chance to make it right, and you don't, you don't value customers. Shame on you!

My husband and I decided to have an early dinner here after a busy week. The food was average, with the steak needing more seasoning and the coleslaw lacking in taste. The upholstery was peeling off, but it added to the rustic charm of the restaurant. The service was excellent, especially from our server Amil who was knowledgeable and recommended delicious items like momma's lemonade, apple butter for the ribs, and salt and pepper wings. His friendly and warm personality, along with his excellent customer service skills, made for a relaxing dinner experience that was worth every penny.

We had an incredible experience at the restaurant tonight for my husband's birthday dinner. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our server, Kailey, was extremely helpful and pleasant. My daughter even said she was a 100 out of 100. We highly recommend the cotton candy Icy for the kids, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the ribs were delicious and finger-licking good.
