Our neighbor told us about Braise. We had to try it. The food is wonderful. Time is taken to prepare a meal that is a proper portion and tastes amazing. If you are looking for mass amounts of food slapped onto a plate this is not the place for you. My husband is a great eater and we orders 2 appetizers, the biscuit basket, soup and short ribs. It was all wonderful. There is a true chef back in that kitchen, not just someone hired to cook. Time and care is presented in the plates here. The squash and apple soup is to die for. It is not thick and sweet like most. This chef thinks while he creates and that shows. We will be back! Quick mention.... Open Table only had 5pm and 5:30pm reservation openings. We booked and went for an early meal. While at the hostess stand we mentioned it to the hostess. It is a glitch in Open Table that needs to be corrected. Call if you want a reservation. It is BYOB!
This is my first review, never felt compelled to write one before today. I couldn't NOT tell you about this place! The food was absolutely amazing. We shared everything so we could experience as much of this unique menu as we could. Wow! The fig and goat cheese tart with honey was just a superb dish, perfect. Everything else we got was spot on. Jill was our server, she made sure everything was comfortable and to our liking, she definitely added to the experience : What a great night out on the patio with the awesome folks at Braise...can't wait to go back!! Parking: The parking lot is so convenient, and loads of parking....but the outdoor patio is right next to it. That's literally the ONLY draw back of this restaurant, but it definitely won't keep us away.
Had a wonderful dinner for 2 Summer watermelon salad was excellent, Shrimp and Grits and Salmon entrees. Fresh and flavorful. Owner operators Scott (Chef) and Michelle are wonderful people. BYOB. First time here and we enjoyed it. Not sure why the place isn't packed because it measures up to the best we've had in Skippack creative and different. Watermelon and burrata app was excellent as were the other dishes we ordered swordfish, salmon and cheddar biscuits. And, a BYOB. We'll be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
