La Cocina Cubana - Lansing

I visited Lansing for work and was looking for a local spot when I stumbled upon this charming little restaurant near the state house. What a delightful discovery! The service was exceptional; I felt welcomed right away. The food was outstanding—I had the arroz con pollo with sweet plantains, along with their bean soup. I enjoyed it so much that I forgot to snap any photos for this review! The only downside was the music; I would have preferred some Caribbean salsa or merengue, but they played a lot of Tex Mex and Mejicano music instead. I did finish my meal with a fantastic Café Cubano con Dulce, which was the perfect ending! I highly recommend this place!

We ordered three different dinners and shared them among ourselves. Everyone agreed that the food was outstanding... we are already planning to come back.

Taste like cheap process street food! You people from Lansing haven 't traveled so I can 't blame you hillbillies and hicks for poor taste buds! Save your money , go to Meijers and pick up a, Hungry Man 's frozen dinner, the food is on the same level!

This was the first time my sister and I tried Cuban food. It was delicious! We are up here from Tennessee and wanted to try something different. I believe we made a real good choice go with this restaurant.
