Service was great, food not so much. Duck cassoulet was dry with monotonous flavor. Trout almondine was OK. Lemon curd tart was just OK, chocolate hazelnut bar was delicious.

Wow !! What a great place , I love the atmosphere and the entire staff is wonderful I even get to bring my dog . The food is really Amazing and fresh, this restaurant does things differently then other places it's a culinary treat. It's warm now, so we sit outside on the patio, but inside is beautiful and they have a beautiful fireplace and a large full bar, and the staff is truly attentive and helpful !!!

Awful experience, from poor service, arrogant staff, not even remotely close to impressive food quality, if there was a zero star that would be my review. First and last time at LB.

Very disappointing experience. We have eaten here over many years. The service and food has definitely declined. First, our party of four was seated at a table directly in the path of the servers but there was no room between tables for them to get through we had to ask to be moved, and there were numerous other tables at which we could have been seated in the first place. Second, when the food came, the side I had ordered (mashed potatoes) was not brought. I asked for the side, and 10 minutes later the server finally came back and said they were out. Third, my fish was over cooked and inedible. They replaced it, but it took more than 15 minutes to do so (it was fish that takes 5 minutes to cook at most). They comp'd the replacement, but I would rather have had it right the first time, as everyone else at the table was finished eating as I was starting. Fourth, I ordered brewed decaf, only to have them come back 5 minutes later to advise that they had run out. Fifth, they brought the wrong dessert that we had ordered for the table, and it took 10 minutes for them to replace it with the correct one. No one expressed any apology for the whole series of errors. I doubt that we will be going back any time soon.

My real issue with this place, which I've been dining at for over a decade now, is the service. I ate dinner here yesterday in a restaurant that couldn't have been more than 1/3 full and the service was abysmal. While waters weren't refilled without asking, our server spent a vast amount of time with other servers at the waiter's station where they gabbed, laughed and looked at their phones for 5 10 minutes at a time. Waving to get the server's attention was useless because they were fixated on their conversation with a colleague. It wasn't only me that felt this way the table next to ours also noticed how the server's attention was on anything but his tables. The food is delicious here the tartar in particular is wonderful but none of that matter when the service is as bad as it's been the past two years.
