The food was fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices, and the staff was attentive and ready to assist with orders and provide recommendations. We had a lovely evening celebrating, topped off with a candle in my green tea ice cream. We highly recommend Sushi Koma and look forward to becoming regulars. See you soon!
The food was decent, with standard sushi options. However, the service was incredibly disappointing and felt a bit like a scam. We had to place our orders three times because they were reluctant to prepare the sushi since we opted for the all-you-can-eat option. Each time, they asked if we wanted to wait because they were busy. If that’s truly the case, they should consider hiring more staff. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and the waitstaff should be friendly, not rude. It was quite disheartening. Additionally, my limited English was not accommodated; they made no effort to understand me. To top it off, the waiter even asked for a larger tip—something I’ve never encountered before. I wouldn’t recommend going there, especially since it’s quite pricey.
There are many great options available. The food is excellent, and I highly recommend the nigiri, seaweed salad, and the naked rolls.
Brought 3 friends here to eat. Waitress was just going through the motions, had no recommendations and turned her back on you before you could finish telling her what dishes you wanted. In fact...another male worker had to pick up her slack. She even forgot to take my initial order and I had to call her back to the table to ask her if I got to eat! .
After work my husband and I came for dinner, we were very hungry and chose the all you can eat function. It was our second time in this place, and the first time was fine, delicious food and polite waitresses. But this time we were shocked by the attitude, the waitress, who took our order, was boorish, freaked out that she didn't understand what we wanted, apparently for this you need to know more than two words in English, as she knew. With each of our orders she asked if we would eat it, if we were sure and that if we didn't eat it we would have to pay separately, then she went to the owner, said something and pointed at us and so every time. We were very unpleasant in such an environment and with such an attitude. I hope the tips that we left are shared among the team, the cooks and the owner thank you but we are unlikely to come to this sushi bar again. We wanted to relax and have a quiet meal but we had to leave this place as we were tired of the inadequate behaviour of the waitress and close observation of us.
