Aroi Thai Sushi - Lauderhill

I went Aroi Thai at 5pm, 4/12. I have been coming here since it opened. I'm not sure if there's new owners, but the service and food went very south. The entire staff, really only spoke Spanish, so communicating was very difficult. I ordered Basil sauce with Beef. They handed me a lunch portion size, without rice. I asked them about the size change from the usual dinner size? They didn't know what to do. I came home, and it had zero basil flavor, and the quality of the dish was substandard. I'm sad, for this was a great restaurant

I just moved to Coral Springs and was looking for a new curry place. I had tried a couple of other places that didn't live up to my expectations. So when I ordered the curry here I was expected to be disappointed and was not! I was so happy to find a new curry spot, and be able to order great sushi too. I have not visited in person yet, and hope too soon!

The food was alright, but the service was lacking. As soon as we came in we stopped at the entrance to look at the menu and wait for the waitress. When she came, she didn't greet us or even asked if we were dining in or taking to go, I had to ask if we were supposed to order there at the counter, and that's when she took us to a table. I asked her for a Sake that was sweet, and the one she brought was not, but I didn't say anything. After we ordered, the food took so long to arrive, and there were only 2 other tables dining. When the waitress finally brought our order I asked for water, given that the food was spicy. She said okay and went back to the counter and talked to a co-worker for about 15 minutes. I had to raise my hand to get her to come to our table, and remind her about the water and she still took another 5 minutes when there was nothing else that she needed to be doing because I could see her standing just chatting. When she finally brought the water, I was pretty much done with my food and so upset, definitely never going back.

Previously when I have gone it was good service. I just walked out because no one even came to to take my order etc. I know she saw me and if that section was closed at least ask me to move. Will not be going back

This is our go to sushi place. Sushi is always fresh and tasty and the fried rice (minus the tomatoes) is flavorful yummy. We have only taken it to go or had it delivered to us. The one advice I would say is it's faster and easier to have it delivered through DoorDash we tried to order it directly from the restaurant and it took longer than expected just to place the order. Otherwise great spot.
