Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Lauderhill

The chicken is quite good at this sit-down restaurant, but I found it surprising that the food is pre-cooked. I was left wondering why it took 20 minutes just to box up the chicken.

This is the worst Popeyes in the USA. They have raised their prices, but the service doesn’t match the cost. You would expect good service at these prices, but that’s not the case; they get orders wrong frequently. They also charge extra for items you wouldn't expect to be charged for, like a cookie. If they mess up your order and you have to drive back—especially with gas prices being so high—they won’t refund you; you’ll just have to deal with whatever they give you. One day, I hope they experience the same treatment they give their customers.

When I visit later, there's often something missing, but the most important thing for me is my paprika. I order paprika for my juice, but why is it always dry? And when I get the chicken, it's dry and small! You really need to do better for the price!

It was a busy Sunday evening, and the drive-thru was overflowing. The parking lot is small and not ideal for heavy traffic, so I parked in the lot next to the restaurant. Given the number of people waiting inside, I must say they managed the situation quite well, so the wait was reasonable and not overly long. However, I probably won't order the rice and beans or coleslaw from this location again; the rice and beans were bland, and the coleslaw didn't appear fresh. Perhaps that's how it’s meant to look, but I decided to play it safe and discarded it. I like to check out the interior before ordering, and it seemed pretty clean. The staff was so busy that it didn't look like they had time to make a mess.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and each visit has been fantastic! The atmosphere is vibrant, which contributes to the freshness of the food. The staff is friendly, and the place is well-maintained. My only suggestion would be that I didn't see any unsweetened tea at the counter, which I prefer to mix with sweet tea. However, this is a minor point since I'm mainly there for the chicken. Plus, parking is quite convenient!
