Stresses of delicious things in the cabinets - sandwiches and it looked as if they could choose their own filling if they do not want a missed. Many fillings - my mother ordered a salad with the fillings she wanted. Really friendly service too :-)
We visited for morning tea. I am a little fussy re my Chai but could not complain the spice Chai was beautifully made. Hubby said the coffee was good.Recommend the raspberry slice it was delicious l, hubby said the vanilla slice was not too bad either. Although we didn't stay for lunch due to time the sandwich bar was popular and looked very inviting as did the menue items which invluded cajun chips chicken burger eyc.
I make it a must do when I come to Launceston to buy my lunch here. The wrap is made to order and it has everything in it. The place is always buzzing. The service is friendly.
Possibly the best location in town but menu really very conservative. Food okay but very slow to arrive (not ideal for a quick work lunch). Coffee just okay. Probably a good choice if you're entertaining an elderly relative who doesn't like challenging their taste buds too much. Staff are often rushed off their feet but remain friendly and very helpful. Outdoor lane is a nice place to sit when buying a coffee on the run.
Had breakfast at this little cafe on a sunny day so we sat at the tables along the street which is nice for people watching. I ordered the pancakes with a side of bacon but was disappointed to only get one rasher for the extra charge. The eggs Benedict could've also had a bit more bacon but the hollandaise sauce tasted home made and good.
