We drive 30 miles to this restaurant on Sunday. It has a wonderful Buffet. My Mama never cooked like this. She was from Michigan. Johnny's mama was from the south. And when they had a restaurant before Covid in Woodruff the lady in front of me in line said these are Johnny's mama's recipes. I hope her gave her hugs!
Not real fancy, but if your just looking for down home cooking? This a good place to start. The people are friendly and attentive. We went around 2pm and it wasn't overly busy, although they seem to do a decent amount of take out
I absolutely love this place. Great smiling staff. Food is always fresh and you can hear how happy the cooks are from the kitchen. It's a good time everytime and that's what keeps me coming back!
Super clean amazing staff who are welcoming. If you are looking for some delish soul/country cooking this is the place. It wasn't expensive and you had a lot of choices. We will be back.
