L'Edelweiss - Laval

Eating out at lunchtime on a Monday in Laval can be a problem. But then we found l'Edelweiss. It is not far from Laval railway station.

Well patronised, even on a Monday night. 2 minutes walk from the station. Restaurant beautifully presented and staff welcoming and attentive. Menu not huge but very varied. Food of very high quality and just the right sized portions. Price about right for the quality and location. Toilets scrupulously clean. Only downside, which they can't do anything about (but the town could) is the immediate area surrounding. The train station has had an amazing upgrade and the works seems have stopped abruptly to the detriment of this lovely little place.

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor. It offers fabulous food and you won't be disappointed. Lots of locals eating there too and friendly staff. I had the sea bass with risotto and it's the best I've ever eaten. Book it you won't be disappointed

Meals of very high quality with local products and a server of very high quality. Only bemole, which is that to guarantee the quality of the product, the order of the cheese/dessert must be made when ordering.
