The Village

Held our GAA presentation night in The Village Inn last night. Over 100 people attended the function room where the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us (especially Dave, the Manager). Will be back again Thanks Billy Bell

Overpriced add ons Went for breakfast today and was disappointed to say the least. Ordered eggs with toast, asked for aside of bacon which was advertised as 2 euro, I would have assumed it was 2 pieces, it was only 1, so it would have cost an extra 4 euro to add 2 pieces of bacon which I decided not to in the end. Considering you can buy a pack of bacon in a supermarket for less than that price ,means you can obviously buy it in for a lot cheaper so you are ripping people off by charging that . Also my partner ordered poached eggs which were way over done. Also oddly there was lettuce on the plate with a balsamic dressing which I found quite odd for a breakfast dish. The only positive experience was the waitress, she was so lovely and so professional. I have eaten here for dinner before and if has always been great , it just seems to fall down on the breakfast side. Unfortunately I will not eat breakfast here again.
