Unplanned we arrived Sunday midday a tad early but were shown to the airy dining room the terrace was tempting but the weather was breaking The meal started with an aperitif and then a delightful selection of little Hors D' oeuvres Followed by a small helping of soup Starter was Foie Gras and mains were both stunning pork and chicken Cheeseboard and the most heavenly Tarte Pomme With two wines selected to compliment the food Coffee and macaroons heavenly Can't wait to visit again

10 of us celebrated a birthday last evening and had a variety of the set and a la carte menus. We all loved the traditional French food and had no complaints about any dish. The carafe wine was inexpensive and enjoyable. Service was quiet but efficient so we have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. A critic mentioned new management as a possible cause for dissatisfaction but they must have since learned because they exceeded our expectations.

Personnel sympathique, plats très bien élaborés et rapport qualité / prix plus que correct ! Rien à redire !

Très écus par la baisse de qualité du menu du jour.Auparavant il y avait plus de recherche, on profitait de plats à base d'ingrédients simples mais travaillés de manière gastronomique. Une bonne façon de lier un déjeuner express dans un veritable restaurant moyennant quelques euros de plus qu'un etablissement qui propose des plats sous vide... Dernière experience décevante : ingrédients et plats basiques, bon mais préparés sans recherche avec des appellations pourtant "alléchantes". Dommage.Sinon, le cadre est toujours agréable, les tables bien espacées permettant les discussions personnelles entre convives.

De passage sur Nontron,Un très bon menu du midi nous a été proposé.Un magret de canard excellent et une joue de porc bien également. Rien à redire c'était en parfait accord.Rapport qualité-prix au diapason.Je recommande
