Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Would like to thank our Waitress, Stephanie for her outstanding service. We (party of 9) were celebrating our son’s birthday and she made it a special evening.

I simply love this location! My father, who recently passed away, absolutely love going to this location. The staff is always very friendly and the shopping, love it! I got this great shirt there as well.

All I can imagine and more grace was an amazing experience in service. She’s so sweet and fast. The kitchen gave my family a party in our tummy and when our son Isaiah lost his cane they were quick to help us. Over the years our son became blind in his right eye and he has to go everywhere with his cane. They didn’t stop until they found it. Everyone was outstanding with our experience.

So I really want to like this place. I really do. But..... The last few times I've eaten there with my family the service has been sub par. Took forever to get a drink order in, then had to seek out someone to refill drinks while we waited for at least 25 minutes for our food to get there. This was after being told that online checkin to be seated wasn't being honored and seeing someone waiting on the patio to be seated for more than 45 minutes on a 20 minute trip with. Just did a curbside order and it isn't any better. Sat in the curbside parking for 15 minutes then called in and got a very rude response from whomever answered the phone. Had to have the curbside person go back in for a missing drink. Pretty sure that's the last time I am going to try this location. Will most likely bite the bullet and drive to Pearland to see if the service is any better there.

Overall, it was a great visit. Super friendly staff, but I felt kinda hurried to make my selection as they had a big group nearby. It was also very cold inside for some reason, almost like the ac was running. The natural fireplace was going and in front of it was great but else where was cold. Almost felt like the food cooled down before you could finish it due to how cold it was. But the store side was great.
