If you go at 9:15 they'll lock the main door as you're walking up and just stare at you as you pull on it. The side door is still unlocked though, and if you go in there you'll see the restaurant is still half packed. A waiter will intercept you as you walk to the bar and tell you that despite the restaurant being packed and despite the posted closing time being 10, they actually close at 9 because of covid and just haven't updated any of their business hours in OVER TWO YEARS.UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS. MY WIFE AND I CAME ALL THE WAY OUT HERE FOR YOUR FOOD ALMOST AN HOUR BEFORE POSTED CLOSING TIME JUST TO BE TURNED AWAY WHILE THE RESTAURANT IS STILL PACKED BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO LAZY TO LOG INTO GMB AND UPDATE A SINGLE NUMBER.You've wasted my time and I won't be giving you any more business because this incident has ticked me off so much. And if you can bother to log in and respond to this review someday, go ahead and update your business hours while you're at it. Its been over 2 years since you apparently started closing at 9, stop procrastinating and wasting your potential customers time and gas.
I never post here about restaurants, this place is terrible! run down, a screw to keep the umbrella that I found on the floor, TV screens broken outside, although I don't really watch television when I eat. I was ignored, I had to ask for my scary, eating was gland, the worst frozen margarita I had ever had, even though it was at least a year since I was one, it could not have tasted as the ones I left on the table. please do not waste their time, really amazed it is still open.
Good food, good service and friendly environment. The staff work really hard to ensure a good experience
(1-23-22) Arriving at noon and being the only patrons should have been cause for alarm, but we chose to stay. The red salsa was served warm which was enjoyable. Our waitress, Alejandra, was evidently poorly trained. Our glasses were in constant need of being refilled. We asked for ice tea and water full of ice and were given glasses with a few cubes of ice. We asked for extra napkins and were given little square cocktail napkins. The chicken fajitas were delicious, but the onions were raw and not grilled. The beef fajitas were not best and the rice was undercooked. Alejandra didn't understand the concept of removing empty plates and glasses from the table to make room for new plates. The daily special was chicken fajitas for 2 for $21.99, but we were charged the normal price which was promptly adjusted. However, this restaurant charges you MORE for sweet ice tea than unsweet tea and the pricing is beyond ridiculous $3.49 for unsweet ice tea and $3.75 for sweet tea. Warning to examine the menu and pricing carefully. While we were there, only two other tables were occupied one for drinks and the other for a meal, which is odd as the nearest mexican restaurant, San Lorenzo, is closed on Sunday. Our recommendation is to avoid this restaurant.
Great margaritas! great bartender! outside the music tonight. not sure if they have it daily. happy cinco de mayo!
