Ginger Bread House - Leamington

Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast or lunch it’s no wonder this restaurant has been a Leamington staple for years! The service is lovely the food is always hot fresh!

We ordered our meals at the restaurant. I ordered 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and potatoes for $11. My wife ordered a small Caesar salad with chicken. Initially, I was asked if I wanted fried onions on my dish, without being informed of the extra $1.50 charge. The eggs and bacon seemed alright, but were quite greasy. However, the potatoes were undercooked and topped with slimy, uncooked, oil-soaked onions. I managed to eat some of the eggs, bacon, potatoes, and onions. My wife's salad did not have chicken or Parmesan cheese, but instead came with two types of lettuce and homemade deep-fried croutons that were oily and oversized. The dressing also did not taste like Caesar dressing. We inquired about the chicken, and it arrived five minutes later, cut up with a bread knife and dry. The salad was eventually taken off the bill, but I was charged $13 for my breakfast before taxes, which included $12 for the meal and an extra $1.50 for the slimy onions. My wife was charged for a piece of garlic bread and her ginger ale. The aftermath of the meal for me was excessive gas, bloating, and a severe upset stomach that led to diarrhea until 4 am. I do not recommend this restaurant. Additionally, my wife received dirty looks from the cook after sending back her food.

Best greek salad ive ever had and amazing coffee !! All around great

The breakfast was not anything special ...serving was small , charge u extra for Rye toast...for the price ..not good.

This restaurant offers the most incredible food that you must come and experience. The clubhouse sandwich is exceptional, and the Greek salad is absolutely delicious. Thank you for the outstanding service and assistance.
