Írjon visszajelzéstThe restaurant may not look impressive from the outside and has a slightly strange layout inside, including what appears to be a separate room. Ordering water can be an interesting experience, with small bottles being reasonably sized and large ones being huge. The chicken tikka starters were average, but the main course portions were very generous. The draft Cobra beer was super cold and decent. The standout dish for me was the mint chicken tikka, which had a deliciously flavorful sauce. The portion size was a bit small though. The prawn biryani was also good. The head waiter may seem a little drowsy, but the service was satisfactory. The main dishes took a bit of time, but were all well prepared, which is what matters.
Went with my son and grandson. Brilliant service even though the place was really, really busy. Food was fresh and tasty with attentive staff.
I had an excellent meal at Lee Tandoori Restaurant in Lee on Solent tonight. Despite being busy, I was seated within 5 minutes and had a drink and the usual poppadoms on the table within 10 minutes. Starters arrived 20 minutes later and mains followed 30 minutes later, all perfectly cooked and presented. The food was top-notch, with generous portions - my Madras is now in my top 5 of all time. The service was prompt, courteous, and highly recommended. The garlic naan was exceptional.
My group of 6 friends, booked a table for 7p.m on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, but we got our starters fairly quickly. They had 2 large tables , of people, who arrived after us . At the same time , people were waiting for take out, delivery drivers were also picking up food. We waited over an hour for our food, which was luke warm when it finally arrived. One of the large tables actually walked out after their starters, and was refusing to pay ! The atmosphere was beginning to get uncomfortable. The service was luke warm. The food was luke warm. Over priced and underwhelming. £54 per couple ! A busy saturday night should not give priority to take ways, sacrificing service to its restaurants customers. Never again.
Went to the beach to cool down after the days scorching heat and to watch the sun go down. Tried this restaurant out as chip shop was queuing down the road. We sat down on a window bench seat which was crammed in with not much legroom and leaning on the bench seat to the table behind, lucky as it would have fallen apart if it wasnt supported. Drinks order was taken quickly, warm bottled water, warm cokes in dirty glasses. We had 2 poppadoms each , only after getting to the last one there was several black hairs on the plate, i pointed this out to the waiter who replied 'thank you Sir '!!! No apologies. The small table top heaters came to keep our dinners warm, absolutely filthy with baked on deposits from the last meals i assume. The top where the bowls sit was covered in bits from previous meals. The window cills dont look like they have been cleaned in decades, the decor was very dark with no lighting. The food when it arrived was actually nice just a bit of a shame that the other bits were a let down.
