The best in the Area? Most Fridays treat myself to a special, really thick fish with a crispy batter. Always order in advance as it gets busy. Always have a friendly greeting from Steve and the girls. A happy ship that has gone from strength to strength with longer opening hours.

Poor servings, quality not great! Not sure the new owner knows how to fry…. Prefer older staff price point poor vs what you get ! Chips scrappy ! The worst in the area now

First time I have visited here. We usually go to Murgartoyds however as we have recently moved from Yeadon to Horsforth we wanted to try somewhere more local. We were pleasantly surprised. Fish really good and chips and sauce also good. We will be returning.

Another really good dinner from Woodside Fisheries. Fish was cooked to order and not sitting around under heat lamps. Nice and flaky and perfectly cooked. Was quite busy when i was there so had to wait a bit but always worth it. My husband gets the pie, chips and gravy which is very tasty. The lady that owns the shop told me that she makes the gravy with the meat from the pie which explains why it’s so good. Very nice staff and always friendly service. Very fair prices too.

I hadn't visited Woodside Fisheries in 12 years due to a negative experience. However, since the ownership has changed, I decided to give it another try. I'm happy to say that I was impressed enough to leave a positive review. The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the owners were very friendly. I couldn't find any faults at all. I highly recommend trying the homemade steak pie - you won't be disappointed!
