Zizzi Leeds The Light

No good meal. a bad start when the waiter called my wife the whole time and was offered when he was not asked. the bruschetta was soggy and badly presented. the pizza was not well flavored and very dry, the calzone, was insipid and also had too much teig. the plants in the crumb were too large and the passion fruit cheese cake had a very winding floor. the nero d’Avola was ok, but the primitivio was good.

We were in zizzis times without problems, but tonight was terrible. they were just too busy and don't think they could be done. old for drinks come and then false wein so had to hunt again, narr over 45 minutes and when it arrived, I had to send back, since pasta was tasteless (appeared to be overcooked) and the huhn was not existent, but the few pieces that I found were just grizzle so ended with a bottle wein and garlic broth again as we did not do. I'm sorry, zizzi, but I doubt we'll risk again in a hurry.

A pleasant afternoon with the family eating. nothing spectacular but good enough with good service.

We couldn't hear what each other said when it was too loud.

Food was average at best, wife’s main course was delayed as the seabass wasnt cooked, even after a 30 minute wait between starters and mains. And an apology for an apology, I wouldn’t bother eating here again as there is so much choice in Leeds city centre. Spoiled the start to our family evening out.
