Sonic Drive-in - Lee's Summit

Our local Sonic, good for desserts or quick meals. We are always pleased!

I drive for a Food delivery service here in town for extra bucks occassionally. Each time I have picked up orders from this Sonic, the employees are more than nice and each time, I have been offered a free medium size drink. Kudos to everyone and the owners of this Sonic! Thank you.

I've purchased food here on multiple occasions and it's almost always overcooked, undercooked, missing something I bought or the longest wait. I have ordered and left before because of how long I sat in the drive through. I have reported my issues a number of times and am never offered a refund or anything else. I've called and talked to a manager after receiving ice cream that tasted like it had been sprayed with cleaning solution (I kid you not) and he laughed at me. I will never ever go back to this location. If sonic does finally reimburse me I will go out of my way to find a decent Sonic. This one will likely close soon, like the third street location did in downtown LS. Just a matter of time. Feel really sorry for their workers, honestly. I blame corporate, not the people who show up to earn a pay check and are so short staffed they cannot make orders properly.

Got there at 11:00 took a good 30 seconds for the drive-thru speaker to be answered and there was nobody in front of us, and there was nobody in Park in spots. We just ordered two soft drinks and it was almost $8. Outrageous. Took another almost 2 minutes for staff to answer the door and they hadn't made the drinks yet. We paid and then she came back with a drink and one of them was wrong and ask us if we wanted to take it or have her remake it. Terrible service for what should have been a very quick visit. And at $8 I will not be back anytime soon for a drink

I pull into a stall 30 min before closing for a drink and they turn their lights off. Wouldn't answer the drive thru either. Service: 1
