Smashburger - Lehi

We stopped by for a late lunch and the place was filthy. There were fries and even a whole burger on the ground. The drink area was a mess. The trash cans were full. There were about 6 empty tables but they were stacked with trash and food. One guy evenhad to sit at a table piled with dirty trays and trash. My burger was ok. My fries were perfect.

It has been awhile since I?ve been to a Smashburger, so I was happy to see one next to my hotel. I ordered the $15 double brisket burger online and arrived early expecting to wait for a hot, juicy, and fresh burger right from the grill. What I gotwas a dry, overcooked and cold burger moments after walking in; obviously not near enough time to cook unless it was preparedearlier. The brisket was cold, dry, burnt and tough to eat, and don?t get me started on the bacon; completely inedible. I atehalf since I was hungry and threw the rest away. I hope it?s just this shop and not the entire franchise?what a waste of $15!

Very disappointed with my meal tonight. I ordered the truffle burger, and it took 39 minutes to get my meal. The place was not very busy, and by the time I got it, it was cold. I was then informed that they were out of truffle mayo, so my truffle burgerdid not have any truffle on it. My wife's burger came with mayo on it, when she requested no mayo. We did enjoy the fries, andthe burgers were good, even if cold. A little frustrated. Not the experience I have had at other Smash Burgers.

My favorite burger place!!! I recommend only getting a single patty so that the beef flavor doesn't overpower the taste of the bun, which is exquisite. The fry sauce used to be the absolute best out there but it changed a few years ago. I add lots ofketchup to the new version to make it good. (Habit Burger is my new fry sauce king and my second or third favorite place overall.
