Mcdonald's - Leicester

While in Leicester at 7am on a Sunday morning, I went in search of breakfast. The branch next to High Cross Shopping center was not open yet, so I decided to go to the Market Street branch, which is supposedly open 24 hours a day. Upon entering the branch and trying to order on the touch screen, I was approached by a homeless man inside the restaurant asking for food or money while I was about to pay for my order. After reordering my breakfast and waiting for a long time, my order number disappeared from the prep area screen. When I finally found someone to help me, I was told they would make me a new order. It took an additional 10 minutes, and my order was slightly incorrect, but at that point, I just wanted my food. There was some on-site entertainment from a group of youths almost getting into a fight, and the McDonald's staff did not intervene. I will not be returning to this McDonald's location again.

After a night out with friends in Leicester, I decided to stop by this restaurant to grab some food. While waiting for my order, I put on a face mask. Sadly, I was verbally attacked by other customers who were also waiting for their food because of my decision to wear a mask. This experience left me speechless and made me question the mentality of some people in Leicester.

Not impressed at all. Food is warm, but still staff are miserable as ever, I work in a restaurant myself. Do 50-60 hours and I still smile. I’m not sure anymore, where’s the menu? It’s so changed, and for the worse.

Does what it says on the tin fast food without the fuss. Lots of eating in space. Nice friendly staff. Quick service. Always busy but worth the wait.
