Espitas Leipzig

During our last visit to the Expitas restaurant, we were unfortunately witnessing a noticeable decline in quality. To my regret, the popular rib day was abolished, which was already a bad omen for the evening. The disappointment started at the appetizer. The Cheesy Nachos, which were previously served with a hearty bean, came this time with grass-tasting guacamole. The interplay of guacamole and Cheddarkäse thus failed any taste. The otherwise customary, colorful garnish from paprika cubes was completely missing. The ribbing lengths were dry, smaller than usual, and in comparison to previous visits were also sweetly oriented. In the past, the ribs were garnished with paprika cubes, this time this loving addition was completely absent. Individual parts of the meat were noticeably dry and dark. A light of the evening was the pork chop: thick, juicy and hot served. However, the supplement, so far bacon beans, was replaced by black beans. Unfortunately, these were a bit watery and could not convince. The atmosphere in the restaurant was further affected by the visibly tense service staff, although the food was served quite quickly. The changes in the menu and the declining quality of both the food and the presentation leave a negative impression. It remains to be hoped that the restaurant returns to its former quality.

Condition seemed somewhat ignorant and unconcentrated wrong food served, bill confusing, just wanted home!

Nice atmosphere and beautiful ambience. The menu offers enough choice and many delicious Mexican dishes.

Eating was salted. Beverages taken very long. The vegan cheese was not delicious.
