Koshiba Japanese Bistro Sushi - Leixlip

A true gem in the area! The staff were friendly and very helpful. My wife ordered the Chicken and Prawn Chahan, while I had the Beef Teriyaki (beef steak). Both were fantastic for the price. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return when I visit Leixlip again.

The quality of the food is excellent, with a fantastic selection to choose from. The service is quick and friendly, and the location truly captures an authentic Japanese atmosphere. I've discovered my favorite restaurant in Leixlip!

This restaurant used to serve incredibly delicious food, but recently, the quality has declined significantly. A few days ago, I ordered spicy chips and agedashi tofu. What I received was disappointing—just three slices of tofu in a large container and only five chips that barely had any spice on them. I can't believe I spent €11.50 on such a tasteless meal. I definitely do not recommend this place anymore.

Been going to Koshiba since it opened, love the food. Love the in restaurant service, the vast majority of the time but their delivery service really leaves a lot to be desired. The past 2 times I 've used them, I 've had to cook other food, so I specified on the app what time to deliver it. First time, I picked a time, confirmation text says 25 mins earlier. I contact them straight away and tell them, I wanted it at 7 rather than asap. The guy on the phone, who was sound, said he 'd pass on the message. I then got a call at 6:10 telling me the food was ready and asking could they deliver it. I said yes, mainly because I didn 't want the food to go to waste. Annoying but the guy tried and was sound. This time, however, was what prompted me to write this review. Yet again, I ask for the food to be delivered at a specific time (6:25). Again, I have to cook other food. App sends a confirmation text saying ETA 6:36pm. Food arrives at 6pm. I rang them, to point out that they delivered the food too early again and that the app is, presumably, not telling them about the delivery time. Was told It 's only 10 mins which it 's clearly not. If you say you 're going to deliver at a time, at least be close to it.

Ordered takeaway. Food came quickly, the miso soup was some of the best I've tried, and the sushi was delicious! Can't fault at all.
