My colleague and I ordered sandwiches and potato soup from the Firehouse in Lenoir City, Tennessee. As usual, the sandwiches were perfectly made and delicious. However, when we received our soups, one looked like a typical potato soup, while the other resembled mashed potatoes that had been left out for hours. I called the restaurant, hoping to resolve this simple issue, but I was told not to worry about the soup's appearance, as it supposedly didn't affect the taste. I have been a long-time customer, and I remained polite throughout the call, yet no assistance or replacement was offered. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of good customer service these days.

I had a co worker order lunch for himself from this location and when he got back to the office with his food, the potato soup looked like mashed potatoes. He called the store and the manager said that they were safe to eat, however my co worker did not feel comfortable eating them, so he gave them to me and I didn 't think much of it since the manager said they were safe. I only had about 3-4 bites before I successfully attempted the DQ Blizzard test on this Soup and none of it fell out at all because it was so stiff! Fast forward about 15-20 minutes and and I am having some serious stomach pain. I just don 't understand why the manager couldn 't have just offered to replace the soup I don 't eat here much, but when I do, I typically really enjoy it. Safe to say, even though I didn 't purchase the food, I am very disappointed and not sure that I will eat here again....

This is an update on my previous review from 2 years ago as I go to this place a lot . Pictured is a cup and a bowl of potato soup that was picked up less than 15 mins ago . I was assured that it is just appearance and is safe to eat . Would you eat it ? Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
