The Lion's Eye - Lents

I hesitate to recommend this place because I’d hate to see it become overcrowded. It’s by far the most affordable bar in Portland. I enjoyed a pint of craft beer and a shot of Maker's Mark for just $10.50, which is comparable to the shot-and-beer specials at other bars. The bartenders have consistently been friendly and accommodating. I don't expect to be recognized, but more than once, people have mentioned that they definitely remember my face. I can't really comment on the food since I haven't dined here, aside from attending various special events. It’s one of my favorite spots, and I truly hope it remains low-key and welcoming, always radiating good vibes!

A great old school bar with an excellent whiskey selection. Colorful place.

We always love our stops here. Friendly staff with prompt service. Our last visit was outside only seating on the back patio plenty of room, covered and clean.
