Cafe de la Sardine - Les Vans

After the beautiful and worthwhile market in Les Vans we wanted to escape from the restaurants booked. We drove away from the village of Les Vans and discovered “Naves”, just a few kilometers away. We found a small café with a beautiful upper terrace where a small...but authentic menu lets your taste buds travel. Vegetarian plates or cold meat, interesting tapas plates, locally roasted beers, chestnut desserts, organic ice creams, ... And lastly, important to me, clean toilets. and a very cheerful service. Definitely “recurring”.

Since Sergio has taken over food, it has become quite good. Not a destination restaurant with the exception of our locals, but very good. Maybe good enough to be a target.

We have many nice lunch here the food is fresh and delicious; the staff is friendly; the surrounding village is beautiful. Dog and child friendly. I love this place!

I can't talk about the Cafe de la Sardine. A small café with a terrace overlooking a courtyard in this picturesque medieval village. There is a small menu, with local sources, well thought out options. The owners are passionate about good food and... excellent service, and I know that everything I order, the food prepared with love and will always be of exceptional quality. I am always looking forward to going to the café, and it is nice that the owners now recognize us and always look after us cheap. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed!
