Blaxton St-romuald - Lévis

I spent the afternoon at Blaxton’s in St Romuald on Sunday, July 11, 2022, watching England get robbed in the Euro soccer final against Italy. The location is great, the building is spacious and versatile, and the staff were fantastic. I only had a snack, so I can’t really comment on the food menu, but there’s plenty of beer available. A few more local craft beers on tap would have made the experience even better, but I understand that things are just starting to reopen. I will definitely visit again.

I was on a business trip in the area and decided to try the General Tao bowl, which turned out to be excellent. It was served nice and hot, with just the right amount of spice. I was a bit unsure at first, but Emmi, our waitress, was spot on—it's truly delicious. The music was enjoyable too, not too loud for a Monday night.

The food was average. I ordered the salmon, but the rice was so oily that I couldn’t finish it. The salmon itself didn’t taste very fresh either. On the positive side, the smoked meat sandwich was good. However, the smoked salmon crostini could definitely use more salmon. The service was also just okay; the staff seemed a bit rude. When we politely reminded them about our missing side of fries, the response was quite curt, indicating that it would be brought out.

We were at a table of 4 at 17h and couldn't hear eachother yelling the music was so loud.

Very good food incredible atmosphere ...will come back often
