The Raj - Lewisham

Typically, the delivery service is good, but today one of our curry dishes spilled half its contents all over the paper bag. It made quite a mess since the spilled curry ended up covering the other dishes in the bag.

The food at this restaurant was incredible! It arrived piping hot and bursting with flavor. We were especially pleased with the discount we received, which saved us £23.00. We will definitely be returning to dine here again in the future.

I have been ordering from this restaurant for many years. However, finding a large chicken bone in either the chicken tikka starter or chicken purée has completely put me off now.

Food was excellent! Driver was friendly. Thank you again for the good food!

Unfortunately the food was barely warm. We had ordered our favourite prawn puree starters but what came was prawns in a bright red, coconut based sauce. Never had prawn puree like that. I can't eat coconut so I left mine. My partner discovered his main course, king prawn tikka masala, seemed to be the same or very similar red sauce as the starter. So essentially the only real difference between the starter and his main course was the size of prawns. We have had many prawn puree starters, from various restaurants, and have never had anything like these. It was very disappointing especially as we had nice meals previously from Raj, including normal prawn puree. If you can't trust what you order, it makes it difficult to justify future orders.
