Corto Lima - Lexington

Amazing! This was truly one of the best afternoon meals I've ever had, lasting 3 hours. The food was fantastic, the bar was great, and the staff were gracious. It's definitely worth the drive from anywhere nearby. They were also very sensitive and compliant with COVID regulations.

I went on a date with my fiancé to this restaurant and discovered online that there were multiple vegan options available. However, the actual menu at the restaurant did not indicate any vegan items, so it's helpful to have the online menu on hand. For starters, we ordered the salsa trio, plantain empanadas, quinoa croqueta, and cauliflower al pastor tacos. All of the dishes were delicious and had unique flavors that we couldn't find at other restaurants. Unfortunately, the main course, quinoa chaufa, lacked taste and did not come with soy sauce dressing as expected. I ended up just using salsa to add flavor, which was disappointing considering the $12 price tag.

During our weekend trip to Lexington, we stumbled upon this restaurant without any prior knowledge of it. The spacious seating area on the upper floor provided a great view of the restaurant below. The food presentation was beautiful, with many vegan options available. The waitstaff were knowledgeable and willing to accommodate any further vegan requests. I wish I lived closer, as I would definitely be a frequent visitor. The menu offered classic Latin cuisine with a vegan twist, full of delicious flavors and vibrant colors. A big shoutout to the talented cook!

We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant! Our server was fantastic and knowledgeable, the margaritas were delicious, and the food was great. We were impressed with the variety of appetizers and small plate options in addition to larger dinner entrees. We tried the fresh-made chips and queso, which were excellent, as well as the tamales (which even a picky eater enjoyed) and the steak tacos (which tasted incredibly authentic). We will definitely be returning!

This is now my top favorite restaurant! It's hard to come across a place that offers so many delicious vegetarian options for me, and they are all absolutely amazing! My husband raved about the incredible BBQ street tacos he had, claiming they were the best he's ever tasted. We adore the ambience and consider the food to be a work of art.
