Don Tequila's - Lexington

This might have been the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The steak quesadilla was incredible.

This trip was my first time ever ordering Molcajete, I definitely did not finish?. The server was kind and interactive. If I’m driving through Lexington again, I’ll definitely stop by.

Restaurant is cute but a little run down. Not much if any alcohol in our drinks. Not sure how they managed it but the food was very bland and yet spicy hot, not in a good way. I had a bean and beef burrito and my husband had chicken chimmchungas. He said the chicken was dry and tasteless. The wait staff was more interested in the soccer game than the service. There's my burrito somewhere under all the lettuce.

Food was gross. A simple taco salad. At lunch was a bowl of grease. I took one bite and almost threw up. I told the waiter hey bud this is no good I picked it up and poured a half cup of grease on the plate. He says ok. That 's it. Not let me have that remade, I 'll get the manager nothing. So I politely paid and left. I saw a person on the way out and ask are you the manager? He said yeah and I explained the food was gross. I didn 't eat lunch. He said ok thank you . So I 'm just trying to save someone else from wasting 20 bucks on lunch.

Food and service have been amazing here both times we have went. Will be back again for sure! Kid-friendliness: Good little kids menu with Mexican and American options to please all.
