El Jimador - Lexington

I ordered takeout and ended up receiving steak instead of the chicken I requested. Since I live in Florida, I couldn't return the food. I don't eat red meat, but at least the rice and beans were fine.

The food has been enjoyable, but the service is slow. The shrimp cocktail, unfortunately, doesn't look appealing and could be better prepared. On a positive note, the wheelchair accessibility is excellent.

Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, and always friendly staff! This is our favorite spot!

Just to clarify about the 4 star service. My server was wonderful I just had to wait for the fabulous Pina Colada a bit too long. Not sure if the bartender was on break but when I was finally served WOWZA. THE Best! The shrimp cocktail was authentic but next time I'll remember to ask for no ketchup in mine. I still enjoyed it with a little ugh remembering that's how it's made in Tijuana and Mexicali. I'll come back for the Colada ..this coming Monday!! I can't wait!!

The food was absolutely delicious!! Staff were friendly and eager to make suggestions on menu selections!! A wonderful dining experience!!
