Papi's Mexican Restaurant And Bar

First time here... not impressed. Went for dinner, place closes at 9 but online it says 10 ?. Food could have been better, don't know if it's typically like this or if it was rushed.Parking: There's a parking garage next to it, it was free on a Tuesday night, not sure about the rest of the week. There's also street parking and a parking lot behind the building, it's a bit hard to find the alley entrance.

First time I’ve ate salsa that actually had flavor. Everything was very fresh. Ordered the chicken and steak street taco’s and they were delicious!

Papi’s on Harrodsburg Road is excellent. This Papi’s is not. Avoid it. Restaurant was dirty. Order came out wrong… twice. Then part of it didn’t come out at all. Then the AC was leaking on our table so they moved us (and just sat someone else at our table so the AC can leak on their food… why?? . Absolutely understaffed, even for a small restaurant like this. Next time I’ll stick to the other location or avoid Papi’s altogether. Not a good experience.

March 27th 2023 I had lunch with my niece and my sister and it was my first time there. Now my niece chose a vegan dish with flowers my sister and I went a more traditional dish the burrito. The food was excellent and there service top notch. I'll be back and I'll bring friends. My niece said the owner was one of her favorite people as he has a business in the New Fountain Blue center next to the Palomar Center off Harrodsburg Rd next to her Jersey Mike's.
