Írjon visszajelzéstOh wow. Woooooow. I can safely say I am an absolute carnivore...I've eaten steaks from many parts of the US but the food here is impeccable. I have to say I don't really like certain veges even at my age but my oh my they made it so delicious it had mewanting for more. The steak is tender and down to the fat just melting in mouth. Delicious. So their menu changes day by day,but they do have a set menu that they can make from as well. Weekends are usually live music nights and it's usually verylively! Remember that they only have limited seating so definitely have a backup just in case!
The food was absolutely on point and seasoned to perfection! My party all order different things and samples each other?s plates. I order the Poussin special with smoked paprika gravy, sautéed broccoli and truffle smashed potatoes (been on a fastingdiet so this was an extraordinary treat for me). Chef John Wilson even sent out a special treat for us. Seared sea scallops overcreamy coconut curried barley with chestnut-parsley sauce! We had a great time! The staff and service were phenomenal as well.Definitely coming back again!
A few weeks ago, I visited this restaurant with a group of friends, and we ordered a variety of dishes. It had been a while since I had seen Sophie, and I couldn't help but remember how delicious the nachos are. I really appreciate that they are spread out rather than piled high. Everything we tried was excellent, and the cozy atmosphere added to the experience.
The only positive aspect of our visit was the service. The menu, which claims to be American, felt quite unusual to me. The specials were overpriced. I ordered the Wagyu sliders and a salad; they were just okay, but the rolls were hard on the outside. My husband chose the Reuben, and it came with nothing—no fries, no chips, nothing. We also tried the beef tips and the Cuban, but the beef tips were overly salty, and the Cuban was just mediocre. The atmosphere was nice, and we wanted to enjoy our meal, but unfortunately, we did not.
I had a fantastic experience on my first visit! I enjoyed everything from the atmosphere to the food and drinks. While passing through Lexington, we needed a place to eat and were so glad we found this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly host right away. There was a live band playing, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made us feel right at home. Our server was friendly and attentive; I just wish I had caught her name! Definitely try the pretzel with beer cheese as an appetizer! Our meals were delicious as well, and there was a great selection of beer and wine. I especially loved the amusing beer options!
