Taquería Mazatlán - Liberia

We went to this little restaurant to have a quick dinner, but we got so much more!! Excellent service, thank you very much to the friendly waiter that help us with the Spanish traduction. The foods was amazing I had the Tacos Mexicanos and there were the best tacos in Costa Rica! Don't forget to ask for their homemade spicy sauce. The prices were perfect as well. The ambiance was nice and relax! I wish I could go back for more!

I visited Taquería Mazatlán in spring 2016 and 2017 when I was in Costa Rica for ornithological field research. I loved this place and have beautiful memories to go here for Nacho fiesta con carne once a week.

We have been here twice now. 1st time a little better than the 2nd but maybe we had high expectations after being so impressed the 1st time.. The food is delicious. The service is friendly and quick. We are still learning Spanish and the server is smiling and patient. Would definitely recommend. The chicken burrito nachos are probably our fave.. We actually stopped here after initially sitting down at the restaurant across the courtyard, but leaving because it was FAR too noisy... We're glad we did.

We loved the Chimi. The staff was kind and accommodating. We had an unfortunate experience with our vehicle in the parking lot (park close and face your vehicle) and the staff stuck around after closing to helped us file a report. Above and beyond.
