Slim Chickens - Liberty

The wings were undersauced and could have stayed in the fryer for another two minutes. The tenders were OK. The Mango Habanero dipping sauce tasted like really strong garlic, no Mango and no Habanero. The fries were good.Food: 3/5

Thank you Slim C.:The gentleman at the counter was very helpful. I have a larger order. I actually got 25 strips for 25 buck it was an online promo. So that was nice. There chicken is very good. I've never had a bad experience. That's not always the case for all. Sometimes mistakes happen but so far so good. And I've been coming here. Since it opened. Few years now. These guys are great! If your in Liberty, MO or Independence, MO (locations I go to) Check it out!

They’ve got really good chicken, I always get wings tenders. They are juicy and fresh. They have so many sauce choices you can get to dip or toss your chicken in. I gave 4 stars because this location always messes something up on my order and the fries aren’t always fresh. But the chicken is worth it so I go back.Food: 5/5

Parking lot was being refinish. Drive-through was the only available service. Ordered a salad didn’t receive a fork ordered chicken with honey mustard and got ranch order soda and they put so much ice in it that one drink it was empty. I’ve been to this location before and my dining experiences have been good, but I guess there’s just too many employees there goofing around to actually get good service today.

I visit Slim Chickens often. Yesterday, I stopped there to get my child a kid’s meal with chicken strips. I went through drive-thru, and the wait time was ridiculous. When I pulled up, I had to say “Hello” several times to get someone to even acknowledge me so I could make my order. Finally, someone comes on and says I will be with you in a one moment. Once I placed my order, I waited nearly 20 minutes for 2 chicken strips and fries (kid’s meal). Then, the strips weren’t anywhere near hot and crispy. The breading was falling off, and the fries were cold. The only positive note I can give this is that their toast was good, and the ranch dressing is always on point. I ended up buying my child some food elsewhere! I don’t think we will be eating Slims for a while.
