Al Bivio - LICATA

Stumbled across this restaurant whilst travelling across Sicily, the manager was very friendly and spoke impeccable English. We ordered mussels to share for starters followed by a pizza and pasta for my wife, the food was unbelievable! We only wished we could of stayed for longer to try some other dishes but we will be sure to call back in when we are back in Sicily.

On August 16 I found myself in this place (out of hand to offer a pizza to guests and if it hadn't been for them I would have left on two feet because I had never seen so much cafoneria. We arrive in 5 adults, a child and a Yorkshire – tell us the table reserved to us without saying anything else – I ask a chair on which to bind the bag carry with inside my fur coat and it comes to me. I ask if it was possible to have a slice of roast chicken for my Yorkshire and send me back to the master manager (I believe besides waiter, cashier and keeper of the commanders the girls in service, apparently, could only serve and shoot – he comes and claims not to have chicken (patience!... I tell myself... and it ends there . In the waiting of pizzas comes a drink and the cutter. My Yorkshire emits some complaints (with which he usually asks for tastes – the master manager arrives asking me to keep the dog safe because he could disturb someone. I stay speechless!... I had the guests to follow and I stayed... but what ways are they? ...result to someone who calls customers? Why didn't you tell us when we arrived that Yorkshire wasn't welcome? ...why did you wait for us to sit and order? Yorkshire didn't bark... it just made a few gems covered by the room mormony that was full enough and if he had barked I would have gone away with him because I know the galaxy. Dulcis in fundo arrives the buffalo that I had ordered from the horrid appearance as well as unmangiabile!. ..contained 3 kg of tomato pulp just out of tin can and 4 pieces of mozzarella that everything was except for buffalo. They will never see me again and I have told you after paying. Location a little out of hand, but all in all the room is well-kept, the service leaves a bit to want, regarding the quality of food (we took a cutter of meats and cheeses) nothing to say all great. Prices a little altini.

Dinner with friends based on fish, the fish is fresh, the dishes are rich, tasty and above all very important are abundant. Extraordinary the soup of mussels, (although for some little refined, I tell you to make the final shoe with bread)! The staff and the owner are very kind, courteous and fast, listen to the needs of the customers and do everything to fulfill them! Finish the tablecloth and the cutlery! Large parking lot! Perfect climate and absent kitchen smell in the room! Satisfied!
